What are we Christians without prayer? ~If we do not communicate our fears, our hurts, our deepest heart desires through prayer…do we think that we’ll get anything! Do we really believe that we’ll have victory in our lives..the answer is clear as daylight. What happens to a couple who start growing apart and not communicate-they divorce. So, if we don’t open our hearts and lives for at least 10 minutes of prayer each day, then there is no real hope for us.
Look at all the other faiths which makes Prayer part of their daily routine…do we? Not many. It is really sad how lazy most of Christians have become…finances and driving a nice car takes precedence over Prayer. No wonder the world don’t want anything to do with us…our lives contradict what the word of God says…Yes, we are humans, and earning money pays the bills, but what about our relationship with our maker. All your good deeds and giving will not bring you closer to God the Father if you do not talk with him. How will you know His true Character WHEN you avoid Him most of the time? These are all fair questions, and I know a big percentage of us will definitely be guilty of not loving our God as we should.
This is my Prayer:
~LORD, heal my heart and teach me how to pray. I am truly sorry for not giving you my time and love…Teach my heart to be humble and lowly. Train my lips to sing your praise all day long…make peace my friend, so I might not need to fear the day ahead of me. Strengthen my soul in the times of need and wash my spirit with your precious blood. Jesus my friend, walk with me and talk with me…
